Summary: “One-to-one training on the job” is sometimes also referred to as “coaching” which involves a process of working alongside individual learners/employees to improve their skills in a defined task or job. 1-on-1 training is actually instructor-led training where the instructor is present all the time. A first level introduction into the world of training. This course assists people with no training background in planning & conducting one-to-one training successfully.

Content Outcomes
• Prepare for one-to-one training on the job;
• Conduct training sessions;
• Monitor and report on learner progress; and
• Review training.
Content:
• Basic Needs Analysis
• Collecting information on task i.e. WI;SOP; instructions; etc
• Planning demonstrations & Instructions
• Prepare resources
• Conduct one-to-one training on the job;
• Monitor learner progress through observation of process; questioning and quality checks
• Reporting on training
• Evaluation & Review for further improvements

Competent in the field in which they will provide training.

Labour trainers; team leaders; supervisors and mentors.
This course will provide recognition for individuals who perform or intend to perform one-to-one training on the job. Formal recognition will enhance their employability and also provide a means for Management to identify competent trainers or coaches. This course will be particularly important for those Companies or Organizations’ who are planning to take on learners requiring workplace experience.
